Rain didn’t hold back this crowd from showing up to the 1st VW meetup at O’neill Headquarters in Irvine. There were food trucks, O’neill open house, live surf music, raffle tickets and free swag from shakapeople and Pierside Parts. The parking lot looked more like a OCTO meet, there were so many great busses. The event had a great vibe, can’t wait for the next one!

What may be the last HotVW Drag Day at Itwindale had a great turnout this past Sunday. Several DKP members made it out for the event and we had a total of 12 club cars in attendance. Kelly Foster raced Jason’s car in Powder Puff and Darrell came out to “break in” his refreshed motor on the track. Scott, Bill, Don and Dustin decided on impulse to compete in the Der Renn Kafer Cup Series just for the fun of it. Here’s a few pictures to recap the day…
