DKP has had a long heritage of Drag Racing. It all started at OCIR back in the 60’s and DKP is still active in Drag Racing to this day. Starting back in 1999 and running until 2007, the “DER RENN KAFER CUP” class ran (based on some DKP members suggestions), where the cars were judged on “LOOKS BITCHIN… HAULS ASS! When that Class started there were several DKP members racing thier club cars until the class became more “race car” than “street car”. Today we still have several members that are actively involved in Championship Drag Racing series and a few that race for recreation.
