Socal Bugorama at Fontana

A group of us endured the wind and dirt storm to participate in the Bugorama Show at Fontana. We met up at Eric’s and caravanned to the track. BRS Racing was restricted to the 1/8 mile but there were plenty of racers navigating the gusts. Scott Bakken and Ron Fleming were racing and Kellie was racing Jason’s car in the recently renamed LRS (Ladies Racing Series), along with 9 other club cars in attendance. It eventually calmed down and turned out to be a great day to hang out.untitled-101 untitled-102 untitled-103 untitled-104 untitled-105 untitled-106 untitled-107 untitled-108 untitled-109 untitled-110 untitled-111 untitled-112 untitled-113 untitled-114 untitled-115 untitled-116 untitled-201 untitled-202 untitled-203 untitled-204 untitled-205 untitled-206 untitled-207 untitled-208 untitled-209 untitled-210 untitled-211 untitled-212 untitled-213 untitled-214 untitled-215 untitled-216 untitled-217 untitled-218 untitled-219 untitled-220 untitled-221 untitled-222 untitled-223 untitled-224 untitled-225 untitled-226 untitled-227 untitled-228 untitled-229

It’s that time of year again. Get your VW’s cleaned, tuned and fueled for BUG-IN Weekend. Kicking of the weekend is our DKP Cruise night held at Historic Downtown Garden Grove. This venue has become a family friendly favorite since the closing of Nick’s Super Burger. Plenty of shade, lot’s of food and beverage choices as well as shops for the spouses. Enter at the intersection of Main Street & Acacia pkwy. The promotor for the GG cruise night charges a $2.00 per car entry fee (this is collected for all GG cruise nights). There is also a 50/50 Raffle.

Out of respect for the businesses of Downtown Garden Grove, please do not show up before 4:00pm and try to park on the street early. There is plenty of parking for everyone!
